TWELVE PARSECS is a family-owned and operated visual design and production studio created by Joshua Potter and Elena Salvatore.
After working a decade in the Film and Television Industry, Joshua and Elena wanted to create a studio to launch their own creative projects, while supporting and celebrating fellow independent artists.
We want to maneuver Twelve Parsecs as a true one-stop shop for the entire film production pipeline + graphic design, marketing, and visual art.
Our studio mantra is TO FIND balance between QUALITY, collaboration, and INNOVATION.
JOSHUA AND ELENA are visual artists with over three decades of combined experience in film, graphic design, illustration, marketing, photography, and video production. Both have formal training in fine art, design, and photography.
JOSHUA is an experienced digital sculptor and painter, graphic designer, hard-surface modeler, and traditional illustrator. He mostly enjoys making monsters and starships, both from popular IPs and his own designs.
ELENA is experienced in graphic design, photography, and sculpting. She has spent her professional career crafting brands and campaigns for indivduals and small businesses, but gains the most enjoyment from studying and illustrating her plants and cats.
